I have narrowed down my trip to either Ride Portugal or Sicily MTB Holiday.

Brian at Ride Portugal has been quick to respond and looks on the case, I wondered if anyone had any experience with them? (For a DH uplifty type thing)

But the vid on this weeks mid week mini movies of Sicily looks ok too. I have been in email contact with them but they are a bit crap at responding which makes me feel they might be a bit haphazard. Any STW’ers got experience with Sicily, should we risk it? It looks like a great place? Or stick with Portugal…

Been out with ride portugal and I had a great time. The tracks were proper tough but they also know lots of less challenging stuff too. In terms of uplift, support, coaching and guiding they are one of the best I’ve been with. When I went they hadn’t got their villa so we stayed in faro which meant a trek out each day to the trails but on the plus side we were close to lots of bars and restaurants for the evening.

I’ll second ride Portugal and the tracks being of a high standard. Hope you’ve got ya big boy pants on!
