    Was going to buy another Shimano XT Hollowtech II BB, but was thinking about a Hope or perhaps a Royce.

    Inspire me.

    Very happy with my Hope SS so far. Had an Acros before that but the bearings only lasted 7 months. Replaced under warranty, the cups also seem cheese-like compared to the Hope.

    Forget the Royce, excellent BBs but only square taper. Fitted lots of Hopes, no complaints so far, and available in lots of lovely colours. Go on, buy one, you know you want to.
