Hey, I’m on holiday at Altitude Adventures in the Pyrenees. Having a great time and, even though I’m not working, I’ve been taking loads of photos. One of them caught my eye as I appear to have snapped a UFO. Not a spaceship, but probably flying and definitely not a lens flare or dust spec (the shots before and after show a couple of dust motes, but no flying thing…)
No, as there is no direction to the blur. It looks more like camera shake except the rest including the cyclist is pretty crisp.
It’s out of focus on an image with a very large dof.
So it’s either very close or very far away. It landed after the previous shot which is why there’s no evidence of it there and probably flew away on the following shots.

Good spot re DoF, I’d never have thought of that but it’s conclusive.
So deffo an alien in the form of a bug landing on the lense. Pretty cool.
Judging by the length of the exposure [1/1600] and the protruberences, it’s got to be a small thiing very close to the lens and moving rapidly. Slightly red at the front, legs sticking back etc. Shiny too.
