I’ve always found the Halfords ones to be quite brittle. Even using them as intended I’ve managed to snap the ends off several.
I use Wera at work. Laser tip Kraftform have lasted 7 years so far and they’re starting to wear on the tips bit still going strong.
Wera always come recommended and they do strike a balance between price and performance.
As for best? Screwdrivers are a textile thing. The ones which feel the nicestvin your are probably the best. I’ve got some Sealey Pro which feel really good. They’re not the same quality as Wera but not far off.
The Wiha sets that I’ve got have sort of soft handles which are quite pleasant to use.
I don’t think you’ll beat Wera for value but there are better out there.
