Just got a set of Hope Hoops (PRO2’s and Stans Flow)

I am going to run them tubeless with Stans tape/valves & maxxis tyres. However the rear rim has come with green rim tape already installed – shall I remove this and replace with the Stans tape or leave in situ and go over with stans tape or just simply try and run them with the green rim tape?

Make sure you use the widest of the two Stan’s tapes.

What they said, and make sure you watch the installation video as its very helpful. If you don’t stretch it right, you’ll end up buying more tape.

ok thank you, yes I have seen the video and know about the stretching.

Any other tips for fitting my maxxis high rollers (wire-bead) and using stans sealant??

    thanks

Only to watch the video that includes adding the sealant and the secret stans wiggle thing to get the sealant spread evenly.

And plenty of soapy water to get the tyres on in the first place!

Highrollers will probably go on without needing soapy water, wire Maxxis seem to suit Stans rims quite well in my experience.
