LOCOG has invited some of the best mountain
bike riders in the world, with up to 130 male
and female riders from around 30 top-ranking
nations expected to attend.
The event will provide athletes with an opportunity
to get to grips with the London 2012 course one
year before the Games, as well as giving up to
5,000 spectators the chance to experience world
class racing action in a unique setting.
There will be two races on the day, one for male
and one for female competitors. They will race
around the 5.1km course for multiple laps,
with the winners sharing a prize fund of around
£5,000.

BMX is a round of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, and is £20 saturday £30 sunday.
