When it’s properly cold (< 0 degrees) I’ve always suffered with cold hands. Tried wearing inners (didn’t work and uncomfortable), tried Ski type gloves (to big and difficult), tried surgical inners (very sweaty – I mean really sweaty). Anyway, popped into LBS to see about a solution and was recommended these for £35. Tried them for the first ten minutes this morning, now it wasn’t that cold I know but wow – couldn’t feel wind at all and very, very comfy. Lovely toasty warm as well. LBS did say to expect slightly sweaty hands and this is to be expected but I think I have my solution. Thought I’d share it…

Just need to find a solution for my feet now. Anyone?

I guess neoprene overshoes to complete the sweaty smelly thing?
Personally I’m not a fan of neoprene gloves, they work OK but I still think a decent windproof outer with merino liner gloves works better (and doesn’t smell or feel icky after a rest stop when you put them back on).
