    A fantastic aircraft!
There’s a facebook page where you can follow the build progress.

Stunning bit of design, I remember reading something about it a while back, possibly to do with the fundraising, but I’d forgotten about it since. Glad the fundraising has been successful and it’ll fly.
I could see a bunch of well-heeled plane enthusiasts wanting one of these; it would be fantastic to see a small-scale production run of these. Nice idea using ‘Busa engines, going to make them even harder to find in furure.

Friend of mine is working on that project, amongst other tasks he designed the gearbox to drive the contra rotating props.

Interesting but unless it had more range than the Bf109 then it probably would not have made much difference in the Battle of Britain (if the Jerries had had Mitsubushi Zeros then we would have been in trouble).

There does not look to be much space in the airframe for armament – stick a couple of cannons in it and it would not get near 500mph

    Beautiful looking plane.

Maybe that plane would not have changed the war – but I wonder if the design could have informed other planes that could have influenced?
