I’m looking at some new forks for my bike (Yeti SB66). Do I get some Rockshox Pikes or X Fusion Slants? Obviously, if money was no object I’d get Pikes, but will I really feel like I’m missing out if I settle for the Slants?

If you have a black frame get the Pikes in black. Those black stanchions look great with a black frame.

@legend – not sure. Maybe because Rockshox have been around longer, and they are more expensive so they simply must be better!

I asked a similar question on the x fusion slant thread a couple days ago.
Ended up buying a set of J-Tech tuned X-Fusions for a bargain price, James is incredibly helpful and quick to respond to emails. Forks should be with me tomorrow so will see how they are!

Just swapped my 36 talas for some 160 dual position pikes and they are the plushest fork I have ever ridden on, get the pikes probably the best firks on the market currently!
