Diet pepsi = marketed to women

    The way they're advertised basically.

They do taste a bit different but basically, as per Coke Zero, Max is aimed at blokes who want a diet drink but are too macho to be seen drinking one…

(though I'll admit to preferring it to Diet Pepsi. Guess I'm macho 🙂 )

Pepsi Max is the only diet version of a fizzy drink I actually like

Ok, here i come with some proper facts:

Pepsi Max is sweetened with acesulfame potassium and Pepsi Diet is sweetened by aspartame alone.

diet pepsi is for girls who want to be thinner.

pepsi max is for boys who definitely aren't gay.

Pepsi Max – Makes you fat and your teeth fall out.
Diet Pepsi – contains carcinogenic sweeteners.

Note – my opinions are not Singletracks opinions. Pepsi, sue my ass! 😆

Edit: Wait, Papsi Max is a diet drink too? How much of this crap do we need?!

I don't ever see Diet Pepsi being advertised. Pepsi Max advertising budget is mahoosive.

Not that I ever fall for advertising/marketing anyway…

Pepsi max seems to taste a bit more of cola, however there's not much in it.

    What's wrong with aspartame?

its one of just a few chemicals that can cross the blood-brain barrier without your body changing its composition
it breaks down at 30C into formaldehyde – NICE
    it causes Alzheimer's
    it causes cancer
it causes hypersensitivity – allergy increases/lupus
it causes legions of the brain
ITS ONLY BENEFIT IS ITS CHEAPER TO PRODUCE THEN SUGAR
    . . . .PRO'S AND CON'S ? . . . think ill stick to sugar

sorry for the rant but this is a pet hate of mine

Got any credible, scientific evidence for any of those statements?
Or did you read it in a chain email once?

I think you probably mean lesions.

Every substance is dangerous to us to some extent and/ or at a certain concentration (look up "oxygen toxicity" for a good example), I guess you have to not do anything in excess and trust the regulators to do their job well almost all of the time.
