Looking at how to get there next March, last couple of years i have taken a package holiday and then had some rep at the other end fail to explain to the driver that the bike is pre booked or, the agent this end failed to tell me that the driver would require a "payment" before they would take the bike.

So this year wondering what other options there are.

Who flys to Gran Canaria, how small a car would i need to get from the airport to the Maspalomas, or is there any one who does transfers? best place to find a cheap apartment, etc.

Easyjet fly from Gatwick and Flythomascook go from various regional airports but not as flexible as you're tied into charter flight times (i.e. stay exactly a week).

Car hire for a week earlier this year was very cheap, barely more expensive than airport transfers for two people.

Can't help on the apartment front, we were staying in a relative's place.
