Northumberland with young kids for a week – anything to do?

OP – I suggest you don’t go, you’re right it’s a terrible place, utterly bleak, with nothing for entertainment bar watching the tide go in and out.

Anyone else thinking of going should also take note, you’d be better off going to Cornwall instead.
