… will be a disappointing thread, initially at least. Many thanks to Adrian for getting my XL frame to me as soon as was humanly possibly given all the supply chain upsets this year. I don’t have an online album to upload a frame piccy but will happily send it to whoever asks in PM. I’ve gone for a fairly matte black with even mattier (?) black decals. But this is no murdered-out build [I mainly want the frame to be easy to touch up as I’m a crash artiste!). Wheelset is DT 350s on FR560s with 32 DT comps and black brass nips. I would have have gone brass-brass if available as the rest of the build is Saint and Renthal, with Cane Creek Double Barrel Coil and Helm Coil 160 mm boing. Schwalbe MM/HD shod, errrrr, and my old Magura Vyron post that I swap between all my mountain bikes.
Major issue is I had a fall last week and my wrist is a bit weak to make the build a pleasure. No point riding in the slop where I am (Ti hardtail for that), so I’ll wait until weather and articulations are in agreement.
The frame is stunning though, beautifully finished, simple looking but clearly well thought through.
