With it being warmish the heating’s not been on much so my Specialized Defrosters that I filled with water on a rainy ride took longer than normal to dry.

They now smell like the bottom of a pond.

    Is there a cure?

    Bleach solution? Milton? Something Else?

Off to order some bags of dessicant for future use but it does feel a bit ‘stable door’ 🙁

Bags of dessicant? You mean cat litter in an old pair of tights?

Washing machine with halo sports wash.

Then dry them with ski boot dryers if your heating isn’t on.

Stuff them with newspaper after riding and replace with fresh after an hour or so. Don’t waste money on bags of dessicant.

these claim to emit more uv than cat litter and nattily deal with the nasty niffs.

Is it worth getting a set to try for a tenner?

Old pillow case..in the washing machine on synthetic setting…wrap with old towel …back inside pillow case and a high spin …fill with old newspapers..and repeat .

    or

If you are in a hurry ,put them back in the old towel and pillow case and chuck them in the tumble drier 😉
