Utterly brilliant on so many levels. Great detox if you’ve just watched the mediocre Tenet.😐

    Ho! Ho! Ho!

When Blockbusters was still a thing, every time we went in to find a film to watch, I’d pick it up and say to my wife ‘have we seen Memento’?

I have all the films I’ve seen, along with star-ratings, tattooed on my thigh, so I don’t have this problem.

It ‘s a superb film.  Was it popular?  I have it filed in my head under “greatest films no-one ever watched.”

Saw it as a double bill with Pi, which is equally designed to mess with you.

Bit harsh on Tenet IMO. Obviously nowhere near as good as Memento but Tenet is one of those films that the more you watch it, the more you realise how clever the plot is.

Chris Nolan hides a lot of clues/details that you don’t necessarily pick up the first time round due to the fast paced and complexity.

Think the reason a lot of people didn’t like Tenet was just because the plot was too complex to digest. I remember people saying that about interstellar when it came out as well…

The Memento DVD had an easter egg feature that when you pressed play at a certain point during the menu screen animation, it played the film in proper chronological order to make it understandable!
