Mods, why has my thread been closed?

There’s no arguing,  AFAIK no rules are broken,  I’ve got a household problem that isn’t resolved and I might get further advice on,  but the thread is now closed.   Why is that?

You started two identical threads. One with replies still open, the duplicate closed and which I assume you are now looking at?

joking aside, two identical threads. I think we can certainly forgive that when you’re trying to hurredly get advice in a stressful situation. Good on the mods to keep the forum tidied up when we accidentally double post too.

It would be helpful if mods just put something in to say why a thread is closed.

In this case a simple misunderstanding or forum glich.

But on other occasions it would help the user base to understand the forum rules and red lines better, especially those times where offending posts have been removed so we can’t actually see what the problem is.

Ahh! My bad   yes sorry,  bit stressed,  must have refreshed a slow loading screen too fast due to rushing.

Because of all the foul language, nudity, and saying how much you love Margaret Thatcher and David Cameron, I mean COME ON.
