It’s amazing how the body heals, both physically and mentally. Take it a step at a time but shouldn’t be long before back riding. Fantastic to hear you’re out of the hospital.
no artificial colours on my legs, just a trick of the light 🙂 From what I’ve been able to gather, it was a harrowing experience for many others, and my son was told I’d never be able to care for myself, but I slept through all that and as soon as I regained consciousness started trying to escape!
” . . . I’d never be able to care for myself”
Hmmm, some would say that’s obviously true. Just look at the state of those shorts 😯
Do you even own an iron???
Through being away in Greece until a few days ago (internetless) and, since I got back here, not paying as much attention as I should to forum posts I completely missed this until this morning.
What a shocker would be an understatement! However, I’m really, really glad that you’re be on the mend Simon. From one old fart to another, keep on keeping on, yessir – all the very best!
yes I do own an iron, kindly given to me by a club member, but I’ve not had occasion to use it yet. As far as I’m concerned, my body isn’t flat so my clothes don’t need to be either 🙂
I have a card from someone signing themselves “Esme” showing a group of 1920’s ladies with their bikes captioned “here we are: powerful erotic and ready to go”. I have no idea who Esme is 🙂
I normally just lurk on here but I’ve been following this thread from the start. Simon walked by me Lancaster today. I’ve checked the picture and it was him! Glad you are up and about and best wishes for your recovery.
simonfbarnes can I just say now you are wrong. Wrong on any topic (there got it in there first). Phew, I’d never dare say that to Tandemjeremy, he’d ‘ave me.
