Is it possible to add a spacer to the following fork to reduce travel ?

    http://www.merlincycles.com/rockshox-sektor-rl-dual-position-forks-26-65774.html

Ideally I’d like to change it to 140mm max travel using a 10mm spacer. If so, please can someone clarify the following:

    1) Would this also lower the crown to axle height by 10mm ?
    2) Would it make the range of travel become 140mm – 110mm

    thanks 🙂

2012 or older dual air forks you could add a spacer but not later forks or dual position. The ones in your link could not be adjusted with a spacer

You *might* be able to change the spring as a complete unit. If so, yes it would lower the a2c

Sorry, meant to say it’s the coil version I’m asking about.

^ Yep, noticed that and edited my original post.

Good forks, do you really need to drop them…what frame are they going on?

The coil versions can be changed easily according to TFtuned, mine are 140mm items and was considering going to 150mm, spoke to TF who told me to just buy the longer spring and send it all to them and they’d do the rest.

Yes the dp coil & fixed travel coils can be adjusted by spring swaps, we can supply parts or do the work for you too.

Hi btw been rather busy the last couple of months 😀
