I don’t think he has been mentioned yet, but I would nominate Alex Honnold. As well as his fantastic climbing feats, I have seen him in a couple of interviews and he just seams a quite unassuming quiet guy who loves climbing. Seams to be the type of guy who would help and advise less experienced climbers.
Even if he wasn’t so sucsesful he would still be living the van life in Yosemite doing what he loves, which if he was just a bang average climber could be rather sad. Which leads to the question, is there a thin line between cool and tragic wannabe.
