Preferably something with clearance for cx tyres. What ideas do we have?

After the holy trinity of;

1. SS
2. Disc
3 Light

Left field!

(Not available in the UK, as far as I know, but I just love the look of this!).

There's all sorts of others out there. All City Nature Boy, for example.

Otherwise, any number of custom ti shops will get you what you want.

Would a nice light carbon CX frame with a BB30 shell and an eccentric adapter be considered cheating?

No idea. SS is niche = pricey heavy steel, you'll def find better value getting a geared frame.

That Raleigh looks nice.

I'm willing to go BB30/EBB or eccentric rear hub too....

The team have carbon singlespeeds, too.

Lightest disc crosser out there you could convert is probably the Scott Addict CX, though.

Any light frame you can get a EBB in. Even Chinese stuff will come up nice and light for not many pennies.

Can anyone link to a reliable Chinese frane/fork combo? Disc only, EBB friendly?

Just realised it was my post you resurrected on lfgss.. That bike is still in my quiver and going strong ..

Bought from these guys

http://www.speedercycling.com/Carbon-Bicycle-Disc-Cyclocross-Frame-FF-R014-_p32.html

Easy to deal with and they accepted paypal(my request) you cover fees though ..

Sure I was around $660 inc shipping plus I bought seatpost ..

That Raleigh is only $1549 ...

Anyone tried importing that (or any other bike) directly from the USA?

Nick
