Was going to post a PSA on this earlier, but it seems a bit...well lacklustre this time round.

I didn't like the glasses. If I can find them someone can have them.

was thinking of going for the bike tools

unless you are a fan of retro bikes i don't think worthwhile
only ever used the chain whip (and i already had one) and the cassette tool - chain tool and hex keys are OK but the various spanners are an odd bunch of mostly redundant sizes (in my opinion) not anti cheap tool just didn't think was actually good value

gloves look okay and socks are cheaper than Aldis.

Tool kit is actually alright. Have used mine a lot.

The pullet works for octalink with the help of a 5p coin. Cone spanners worked fine for my Shimano hubs.

Tool kit is a bargain if you haven't got many of the parts already.

I got one a few years ago (when they used to be £17.99) but all bits are still going strong.

Crank puller worked fine for me on ISIS.
But perhaps worth noting that the bottom bracket tool is shimano only, and wouldn't fit over the spindles on my ISIS BB.
Cone spanners perfect for Shimano hubs, but also work well as pedal spanners (although a full size pedal spanner is also included).

I've used a similar chain cleaner, worked well. Might get one as a spare.

Anybody any experience of the shorts?

They must have had a late delivery at Lidl, Cheadle (Stockport) because they have got loads of everything available.
I was passing by at 7:00pm and called in.
It all looks horrible to be honest. I didn't bother getting anything.

I tried the gloves, but walked away. A funny cut so didn't fit. Tight on the fingers but baggy on the thumb...

A long cuff too.

Pity, they'd have been a "BARGIN".

i got the gloves last year really comfy but after 2 rides the stiching came apart inbetween my thumbs and index finger may be mine were faulty, i really think you should spend money on the thinks that keep you on your bike imo.
