  • Kinesis Maxlight Phase – 29 inch wheel (or what 29er boost HT frame).

    I’m looking for a 29er boost HT frame (as I have got forks and wheels from PSAs on here for spares, but now I’ve decided to put them on a new frame). The wheels were intended to give me a 29er XC option for my plus bike but I don’t think I’m the wheel-swapping for different scenarios type.

    I understand the earlier non-boost was intended to be switchable between wheel sizes, but the one I’m looking at now (£200 on eBay, but similar prices from a few places) is advertised as 27.5 and 27.5+

    I’m putting a set of Mavic Crossmax with 2.25 tyres on, so not the biggest tyres by any stretch.

    Alternatively, what frame for around £200 that is boost, 29er and will take a 130mm fork. I had the NS Eccentric in my basket on CRC a few times, but never clicked buy. They’ve now sold out, annoyingly.
