Thanks for all the suggestions, sensible and otherwise : )

The interview was done without video!

I’d gone for a shirt no tie and a fan as it was baking hot in the house.

I thought it went well, but it was hard to tell without visual feedback!

I’ll find out later in this or next week.

    Cheers all 😀

fingers crossed for you. I didn’t suit up for mine in the end as too hot, but short and tie and made a joke of it at the start. My fan is a huge and thunderous (aircraft on taxi) floor fan….I decided it was best to switch it off for the interview.
I’ve got to wait until next week now.
Another interview friday for me. should be cooler…suit on.

i’d just go with an ‘office shirt’ and no tie – but i work in Engineering where shirt/jeans is considered ‘dressing up’ and a clean T-shirt or hoodie is acceptable daily office wear.

As others have said – if formal business wear is a long term casualty of COVID-19 i’ll be glad to see the back of it.

Thanks both! I am very very excited. I was very fed up where I am/was after being interviewed for my own job and outed months ago. This new job is a big promotion and pay rise and far more exciting all round!

    Keep trying tall_ Martin!
