The only mistake you’ve made is setting the bar quite high for when you next buy a bike !
I know nothing about Bos suspension, but many aspects will the same as RockShox, Fox, DT Swiss, Marzocchi etc. For example, air springs/pistons/o-rings, coil springs, damper cartridges, seals, compression/rebound adjusters it’s all the same stuff. If you get a good understanding of suspension mechanics, you can take care of basic maintenance yourself for the forks and rear shock. With most suspension products, you can safely take it apart to clean and re-lube the main moving parts without doing anything to the complicated damping parts. You just need to get the right tools, oils and learn the basics. And then, say, every 2 years, pay a specialist like TF to do the tricky parts you can’t do yourself, such as rebound circuitry services, nitrogen top-ups etc. My view is that it’s better to have high quality suspension and look after it. You’ve made a good decision with that bike – wish I had one 😉
