  • is there a way to tell if my cables are coated?

    Was going to get some Cable magic, but it says not to use on coated cables. I know my mtb ones arent but how do i tell with the ones on my road bike?

    Or is any old lube (eg finish line, GT85)just as effective as the cable magic stuff? (i've got a couple of middleburn cable oilers a mate gave me but not fitted yet)
