    It was in my ear.

I’m not at the stage where I forget what has just been said.

I ache all the time (due to exercise) and make noises when exiting my sofa.

I’ve read in a number of places that pulling them out isn’t advisable, it can cause inflammation and infection, although I don’t know how true that is.

I can do without the pain, I use a tiny pair of scissors.

Hairs on my ears, otoh, get yanked out, I don’t even notice those.

I ache all the time (due to exercise) and make noises when exiting my sofa.

Oh, I do that, but with arthritis appearing in increasing numbers of places, I feel I have a right to!
Recently my right hip was playing up, but that didn’t elicit a mere groan, it made me yelp with pain, it was excruciating! I couldn’t even put my socks on properly, because I couldn’t bend even sitting down enough to get my sock over my toes.
It’s eased up now, I’ve changed where I sleep on my mattress, so I think it’s the mattress that’s been the problem, so more expense.

in my early 30’s I found a hair growing out of my ear. I plucked it out only to discover that it was gray. humbling moments.

    And don’t forget to stretch.

I pull the nose hairs out by hand…strangely satisfying.

My aging test is putting socks on while standing on one foot with the other out in front. I’m just losing the ability to do it.

Clippered my hair this morning, takes half the time it used to with half the mess. Win win!

You need to take up yoga. Or wild swimming.

1″+ eyebrows here, too painful to pluck more than a couple at a time

It’s really weird how the eye-watering pain can be so satisfying. I do it too.

…I’m not middle aged yet! I’m not! Honest!

I use a tiny pair of scissors.

    Don’t sneeze…

Philips one blade on green for the eyebrows. Although mine are white and invisible. Trimmer up the nose. Ears by hand.

I pulled a hair out of my ear that was so long I genuinely thought it might be attached to something important at the other end. If I leave my eyebrows they start getting to Shaw Brothers Kung Fu film villain levels.

Eyebrows for me.  All perfectly normal apart from the random odd hair which suddenly thinks “I want to be a pube!”

Pff.  You’re not supposed to squeeze spots for the same reason.  Bugger that, I’ll take the risk of infection (which has NEVER HAPPENED in the 40 years since troubling puberty) over walking around with a painful custard tart on the side of my nose for a week.

When using my elecky head shaver, with the three round foil blades, I’ve discovered that a quick diversion to my lug holes is effective at keeping the clock springs that would otherwise appear in check. Sticking one of the blades in said lughole and giving it a bit of a wiggle is surprisingly effective and time efficient as it negates the need for separate tweezering, strimming or whatever. I was quite chuffed with myself when I discovered this. Likewise when I started using my beard trimmer to do my eyebrows at the same time.  Small wins.
