You ever tried taking a picture of yourself doing a pull-up?

Why can’t you take the picture using your other arm?

More importantly where’s my sodding birthday cake?!??

Limited scapular rotation. I’m working on it though.

How about I give you a picture of me in my birthday suit for your birthday treat?

In the meantime here’s the iDave cake I made for you…

Cool! A half woman half cake thing is possibly the best present ever!!

    Ham Cake ?.

I suppose thats what it must be to be icompliant

anyone else puzzled by how much that cake weighs? It looks pretty heavy (assuming it is all meat), but the woman seems to be holding it out there without much bother.

probably polystyrene with a few slithers of wafer thin ham draped over it

If you ate meat cakes you’d be able to carry it with ease too.

    🙄 some people 🙄

surely processed meat is off the menu according to the ‘list’? This cake is non-compliant.

It’s iDave+ as are pork pies.

    alex222

so on the idave+ you are allowed basically all of the things that are on the idave banned list except; cakes not made from ham or cakes and beer?

Cakes are in too. Beer is a dodgy area, it’s ok if accompanied by a ciggy.

that’s okay then I only ever drink when smoking 😀

I had a spanish omelette made with sweet potatoes and I did myself a red wine enema for tea last night. is this iDave compliant? The enema helped me sick up the omelette and then well you know at the same time. I must be loosing weight.

    What is this loosing?

    losing sorry….

so is a red wine enema iDave compliant? I want to do it again as I felt strangely gratified and hollow at the same time right after I had purged myself. Plus the warm drunk feeling left me sleeping deeply so I woke up fresh as a daisy and totally hydrated. Which I believe to be symptomatic of an extended period of the iDave diet.

    What wine did you use?

    alex222

it was a merlot; a cheap merlot though

Yeah, you need to read his blog and make sure it’s on the recommended list.

Otherwise you’re far better off using black coffee… possibly with a pinch of cinnamon.

I have no cinnamon; can I replace with nutmeg?

    TheSouthernYeti

Ummm.. if you’re down to less than 15% BF and you keep the nutmeg whole then yes, that’s iDeal.

    Alright then.

Lets try to make some use of this.

Last night, I had a go at those flat bread, as posted by Maccrusiekenn, whatever his name was.

I got it into the fridge and it did kinda set, a bit.

But it was still too soft to slice and slip into the frying pan.

So. All you flat bread making experts out there.
    Teach me flat bread making.
I’m fairly handy in the kitchen ( flat bread aside) I follow instructions and normally get the desired result.

However, this is STW, not a cook book and I need a bit more detail, info, in order to produce good flatbread.

    There !.
    😉

My BF at the moment is 16.2% But once it has dropped below 15% is should do a coffee enema and then insert the nutmeg as a suppository?

    Single_Tracker.

I chuck some gram flour, water, olive oil, an egg, salt & pepper and some herbs / spcies of my liking into a bowl. Mix it together and then bang it in a frying pan.

As do I, but I get stick to the bottom of the F/P, which is stainless, not non-stick.

Ahh… I use a non-stick pan with some olive oil in it.

    TSY, Alex222.

Thanks. I think the recipe by M is a good one.

    Its the technique.

Others make it sound simple, I’m guessing they must be using non-stick F/Ps.

    Oh well.

    I tried.

    Cheers.

Single_tracker – have you heard of shopping? I bought a pan from Ikea a couple of years ago… still going a treat I think it was a tenner. Full metal handle so can go straight in the over too.

    Lets not go there… Please.

I think this is what I am going to try next.

    Good one.

    Why?

Anyway… there are recipes for oven baked flat breads too.

Yes, they are on my list of things to try, also.
Especially with the addition of an egg or two.

    I find that this

cook one side on the hob and then put in the oven/grill as opposed to flipping

usually makes life easier when getting stuff not to stick to my pan as I have a crap electric hob.
