Pretty niche and first world problem but someone may be able to help.

I think BT and Now prevent mirroring live sport from my tablet to my TV. The BT message says sorry you cant do that when connecting from USB C to HDMI.

Any ideas how I can increase the size of the game image? I don’t really watch the TV so could replace with a monitor but it needs to be 12V.

    Help thanks

You can cast it, if you have the BT Sport app and a chromecast…its what my 82 year old Father does, bless him 🙂

A cheap 2nr hand Now TV box seems like the easiest solution.

He’s not the only one. 😂 (PS what’s wrong with that method?? Asking for a friend…)

    Annoying

Oh ffs I tried a chrome cast and couldn’t get past the setting the rooms up stage!

Beaten by an 82 year old for technological expertise. Hangs head in shame. I will have to carry on with my shite set up!

Make sure you can do that, I have a bt sport app on my work phone but I can’t cast it as I don’t have the permission cos I’m on the cheap tariff of £5 a month or something

I cast from BT Sport app to Chromecast as well.

Or you can usually cast the screen, but then when you get messages popping up on your phone they show on the TV as well. Which is obviously not great when mates are sending dodgy messages….

My old Samsung phone would cast directly to our LG TV, but my Motorola now will only screen cast to a Chromecast.
