    The spec says:

DT Swiss thru bolt – The DT Swiss thru bolt system is 100 % compatible with the quick release standard. Instead of a thin 5mm shaft, the DT Swiss thru bolt is an alloy bolt with a diameter of 9mm on the front hub

Will it work with a Hope Pro II front hub and a QR skewer? The 9mm through bolt has me confused. How is it 'fully compatible'?

    It's from a DT Swiss XMC 100.

it replaces the qr skewer with the axle. The axle slides into the cart bearings, has a lever at one end and a thread at the other, which you tighten.

So, it's not really suitable for swapping wheels between bikes then?

In other words, it won't work with a QR hub out of the box?

I think i have the QR version of this, Its the same as a stout hub,

This is what came on my dt swiss wheels, so won't go through a pro 2 unless you get something to adapt

You can swap the wheels between bikes with normal QR dropouts.

It's just like a Spec. Scraxle (sp?) thing. It'll fit any fork with QR dropouts, you'll just need to get the 9mm DT adapters for the Hope hub.
