Thinking of getting some of those hope tech m4s on offer on Merlin.

If I buy new xt shifters are they compatible. I’ve got some 2005 xt shifters at present which I am sure aren’t so compatible?

Anyone got a definitive answer?

New xt shifters are mountable but req the correct matchmaker clamps. Not sure about your 05 shifters.
Make sure you get the correct ones for the tech levers, not the race levers.
The tech m4s are great, only problem is that the lever bodies are wide and push the shifters quite far out from the grip, the matchmakers sorted this right out..
