Sennheiser px100 markii or the px200 (noise cancelling). The 100’s I rate, sound better than some I heard (Bose) – good range of dynamics (decent bass, midrange and treble.

I’m after some comfy over ear headphones for listening to ma bangin choonz on ipod/films on ipad on the train commute to my far away office (2 hours plus, each way).
Ideally ones that don’t make me look like a Cyberman too. Budget is around £50-75, with a little room to up that should something that is teh orsumz crop up.
Well? Wassgood? Oh, and if anyone even thinks about whispering Skull Candy, they will be served up a steaming bowl of fist pie. To the plums.Posted 4 years agoSimpsanMember

Off the back of this thread and a couple of others I bought some AKG K450 headphones.
I’m not an obsessive in this sort of thing but thought I would give some better quality ones a go for a long journey.
I’ve never had any headphones like this but normally use the standard iPod ones…….
And wow these are good! The sound is in a totally different league and I am now rather looking forward to my journey next week!
I’m sure lots of the others are also very good but basically if you like music and are listening through iPod ones then treat yourself 😀
Thanks to this thread for prompting me to buy some.Posted 4 years ago
