I have a VERY small storage area for 2 bikes – how could i go securing a bike to a wall (rear wheel on the ground taking the weight) using standard QR forks?

You just need a wall hook Rob and no need to rest on floor.

If a bike can handle you on top of it riding down rocks n stuff then it can hold itself up by it's wheel.

The "shed" is 5ft high at most – got the prophet to fit in plus the GT hardtail.
    Its approx 3ft wide x 5ft high x 5ft deep

hang it back first then… use the rear.

Rob – I've just got some cheapo plastic-coated hooks for mine. I hang them "sardine-like" to get more in.

Just beast some rawls in to the ceiling and screw the hooks in. Job done. Always put in a spare…. you will end up needing it.

Fix a block of wood to the concrete wall and the bike hooks to that.

    Or that aye.

He might not have enough clearance though so i didnt suggest that.

The only clearance he needs is the one from the Mrs for knocking holes in the wall.
