Top of the Worcester Beacon, Malvern Hills.

What’s missing from this photograph is a) 10,000 people desperately seeking sunshine and b) trails that had the grip of a Teflon non stick pan. Still nice to be outside in the sunshine, and not being rained on.

So on that cheery note, what do you have from todays ride?

Ride? I’m sitting here housebound due to a stinking cold and moaning about Jeremy Clarkson!

🙁 we think – apart from a similar day two weeks ago when I couldn’t ride – there has been a month when it’s rained every day. This time last year it was all frozen.

There really were a lot of people tho. Even for the Malverns.

Did a (not particularly) quick loop of the Hammer (Moray Monster Trails). It pissed with rain the whole time and the trail was basically a bunch of slippery rocks sticking out of a slimy path. No way was I going to prolong the misery by stopping to take pictures. I’m glad somebody enjoyed some sunshine though.

No pics but nice to get out. More people out riding / running / walking than I see in the middle of summer. New Yr resolution syndrome I guess 😉

Complete sh*tfest out there though.

Had plenty of sunny days but not riding sadly.

Never got my arse into gear. I’m planning on getting back into it again I’ve been walking a bit latterly to build some base fitness back, this week I’ll be digging out my gear and cleaning it. May even service a couple of bikes.

Best get out now. Ready for Spring 🙂

no pics here either — too wet & windy Alex! spent the morning ride flitting from one set of woods to another to avoid being soaked and knocked sideways..

Found plenty of slippy roots and sloppy MX tracks though!
