Anybody tried the chest mounts for Go Pro cameras that you can get for £10 to £15 on eBay? Are they any good? Genuine thing is around £35 which seems steep, but if it’s the only one that works well, then worth buying. I just don’t want to do the buy cheap, buy twice thing.

I’ve tried a few of ebay but have settled on the GoPro one as it seems the best. I may have chosen a couple of bad options.

Ive used both and cant tell the difference

Not sure about chest mounts but I’ve ordered various mounts from eBay and whilst some have been fine there have been some that have been poor quality and badly fitting. I have the proper GoPro chest mount and it works fine. I’m inclined to stick to the branded mounts where I can as they are more of a known quantity.
