Hi – the FC report weekday only closures to the black cutting out deliverance and redemption until the end of March. Anyone know if they are likely to be opened back up for the weekend by Friday mid-afternoon?

I rode the Glentress black last Friday afternoon, and the trail was still showing as closed then (just a sign on the start of the closed section and a divert sign; there was no barrier). It might be worth calling the centre and seeing if they would be okay with you riding it then.

Ok cheers, might give them a ring next week. Out of interest are the bits cut out by the diversion any good?

I was at GT on Saturday and the diversion was still marked up.

I’ve not ridden the diverted sections, but judging from various forum discussions I think they are good. I chose to ride Brown Trout instead, which I very much enjoyed.
