Planning a trip up to glentress in May, does anyone know of a good place to stay, that’s biker friendly, will take 8 to 10 people. Preferably not self catering, either a B and B or a hotel.

    Many thanks,

Budget dependent, the Tontine I really like.

Or theres a B&B on the Edinburgh road a mile or so out of town on the right hand side who have a couple of self catering bungalow things as well. Can’t remember the name but remember them being very good (excellnt breakfasts too).

If you want SC then look no further than Innerhaven in Innerleithen.

+1 for the Tontine, great location, nice hotel. rooms at the back aren’t as nice as the roooms in the main part of the hotel though, less character b ut otherwise fine.

Tontine is in a great location in Peebles too.

expect to pay anything between £35 (single non refundable with breakfast) and £75 depending on time of year.

Another vote for the Tontine. We always stay there when there’s a gathering, and it’s bike friendly with storage and washing facilities.
