Looks good, lets all try to forget any Ghost based ‘comedies’ that were released in 2016 like they never happened.
It’s a sequel, but it’s pretty far removed from the original, new themes, new characters, probably a few nice ties to the originals, doesn’t seem to need to piss all over it’s legacy either, which is nice.
Over the years Murray has flip-flopped countless times over whether he’s going to sign up to another Ghostbusters film or not (and backed out of a few after previously agreeing to them). The fact that he’s involved in this one – and he is – can only be a good sign.
Actually, that looks like it might be pretty good! The rubber on those tyres, though, makes me very nervous. I hope they get them changed. Michelin CrossClimates for the win.
Uh huh, so a Hollywood studio isn’t exploiting your fond memories of a well loved film so they don’t really have to come up with any new ideas, and consequently save a bunch of time and money on anything approaching a script. They’ll just stuff the film full of “easter eggs” to get the nerds on You tube endlessly spaffing (sly political satire shoehorned in) over carefully released trailers that will ultimately end up in a joyless and most likely plotless marketing exercise produced in a blue screen warehouse in order to ruthlessly push merchandising…
Right…You haven’t been paying much attention to the Hollywood model, have you?
