Imagine you’ve watched something by now but Blades of Glory, Anchorman and Little Miss Aunsgine would be go-to films in that situation.

    Literally.

This is either a Cheryl reference, or you have no sense of humour 😛

    Burn After Reading.

Have read mixed reviews but I watched it with glee and hooted with laughter. Too many great one-liners.

    +1 Young Fronkensteen.

and ‘The Producers’ (original) for that matter.

and ‘The Odd Couple’ (Matthau, Lemmon)

and ‘See No Evil, Hear No Evil?

‘Life’ – (Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy) is a rarely mentioned gem. That bit when he gets his toe stuck in the bottle and they are both laughing for real. Had us all in stitches. Great fun film.

it takes a lot to make me literally LOL at anything on telly, but the last time i did was a 6-part ‘black comedy’ series called ‘Camping’. it was a sky series, written by and starring julia davis. i really recommend that everyone needs to watch this, and dont be fooled by the slow start 😀

if you dont laugh out loud exclaiming “wtf!!!!” in many many scenes then youre actually dead.

Introduced my kids to Airplane and the Naked Gun the other week. They laughed their heads off all the way through both of them

    Top Secret next then

The Party was one of my favourites, but haven’t watched it for maybe 25 years, so might not be funny anymore.

I particularly laughed at lance armstrong’s comedy turn…

(After getting through his cancers) ‘with the help of my friends and family, I got back on the bike and won the Tour de France 5 times’ (at the time)

    Aye Lance, ‘friends and family’…

    Step brothers
    Role models
    Team America
    Deadpool
‘The cornetto trilogy’ (Shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, the worlds end)
    Tropic thunder

I don’t know if this would be as funny now, but it really used to tickle my funnybone.

    Featuring a young Kramer…

My wife and I find “Grown Ups” an excellent couples comedy. Some brilliantly choreographed moments. Even if you can see it coming from 200 yards away.

Most gene wilder classics are genuine laugh out loud.

Pink Panther classics still get me. Herbert Lom as the now super-villain Dreyfus in all his twitching paranoid-schizo giggling genius.

That scene when he’s high as a kite on laughing gas having his front tooth pulled and Clouseaus’s fake nose is melting!

I hoped that people would notice the wink face. He is most certainly on my list for the first entrants to the B-Ark. How he has managed to find continuous employment as a comedy actor is beyond me. For some reason a previous housemate thought he was hilarious. I might put him on the list as well…

Didn’t he do “little Nicky” the silly Dracula film?? That was at least “smile” inducing.
