I happened to notice the “40%” member’s discount on Garmin in the sidebar – my friend said this morning he’s looking at a new Etrex, so had a look for him. There’s no code, just a link from the member’s discount page with the discount “automatically applied”. No obvious discount – fired up an incognito tab, and get the same price. Checked with a couple of others – a Montana and an Edge – and they’re the same. Is this just a case of 40 PER CENT OFF!! (but only on one niche product no-one ever buys), or am I missing something?

Roughly 20% of the Edge series (except the new 540/840). Nothing else that I can see (including lights and radar, which is disappointing). It’s not STW’s fault. I had a look with Perks at Work and that has the same limited selection.

Ah ok, I’m seeing 10% off the Edge Explore which I don’t in my incognito tab. And £70 off a Varia RCT715 if that’s any use to you?

Oh yeah, I see the 20% off the Edge 530 and 830 too now, making it the same price as Wiggle.

I realise it’s not STW’s fault, but it’s a bit of a waste of time.

I got 40% of a Forerunner 55. It is most excellent!

You have to do some kind of slightly weird dance to get the discount IIRC. It’s described on the other thread.

Make sure you are logged out of Garmin before going to the discount site. Then once on discount site, navigate through that the Garmin site and discounts are applied, you select what you want and purchase it at discount price.
You then take a note of the order number, log back into the Garmin site, go to Orders and add the order number as a missing order and it then shows under your account (easier for tracking).

Anyone let me know what discount they do on watch straps?

    This one specifically: https://www.garmin.com/en-GB/p/552881/pn/010-12924-13

    Cheers

Same here. Not sure if I was being naughty and using the work laptop.

Just to point out for anything broken;   My 3yo Vivosmart strap broke yesterday, and via a very quick chat through Garmin messaging app original to ask replacement straps can be had, they offered to replace it FOC with free return & postage via UPS also.

Very good service seeing as its out of warranty, I was pleasantly surprised.

    Link?

I’ve been trying to get discount on a Vivosmart, shows a discount on the front page, enter the page and it disappears.

Are you logged into your Garmin account? If so, log out (of Garmin site), close browser and then go back in to discount site then into Garmin discount. That should keep the discounted price.
Once bought, get the order number and log in to Garmin site, go to your orders page and add the order number under the missing order option.

I couldn’t even get onto the STW Members discount page – got emailed a verification code, put it in, hit verify and nothing happened

Old post I know, but I just wanted to add to it as I found the thread when looking for Garmin deals and it resulted in me finding a bargain..

If the STW discount is the same as perks at work, there are some pretty decent discounts on quite a few items at the moment, including 25% off the solar versions of the edge 5/8/1040 and a load of watches. Just picked up a 1040 solar for £472!
