I’m getting a sound thrashing on our local 10 mile time trial. I’m hoping I can improve my performance by spending money on stuff, so I recon I need a garmin.
Any good deals around? I can’t find any.

Bigger legs and a liking for pain is all thats required to time trial well, well maybe a few other thing but its pretty basic, get fitter.

I have considered that.

if it is for tt just get a cheap computer. Then spend the rest of the money on Tri bars, skin suit, deep section wheels etc.

It’s not that serious, just a few mates tracking a ride on strava. I want a garmin for the ‘race yourself’ feature more than anything else.

Garmin edge 200 or 500 from handtec or actually halfords seem pretty good, use this with garmin connect and / or strava.

Use the actual v average display to push up your average and strava to woop all local ass. You will be a cycling god in two months.
