The options are as clear as mud.

Cheap options are usually wiggle, crc or halfords if one of them have an offer on.

I think it is the uk trail bundle that comes with maps but IIRC you cannot get maps, hrm adn cadence in one pack. All Gamrin HRM are compatable so it is really easy to pick one up on ebay. I assume plenty of people buy more than one device, get a hrm with each and then try and sell them on.

Whenever I have checked for deals on the 800, Winstanleys have usually looked about the best price.

Garmin Edge 800 Enduro GPS Computer (Cadence,HRM,GB 1:50 Maps) £359.99

Garmin Edge 800 Trail GPS Computer (Discoverer GB 1:50 Maps) £319.99

Just be aware that the 1:50,000 OS map SD card for the UK are £199.99, so if you think you’ll want the maps then it is much cheaper to buy them in the bundle.
You can also use the Basecamp software for route planning if you have the SD card in the unit

I’ve got 500 and an 800 500 keeps going tits up every time it rains hence the 800 left it to long for warranty they’ve offered me fixed price replacement 68 quid which isn’t bad but they are meant to be water proof
