whats the difference, lookinga ata 2nd hand 2010 f series 120 rl and a new but 2009 float r 120
both qr15 and similalry priced

Check out the Fox website and I'm sure it will explain. I always thought he F series were racing forks and Floats are more XC type but I could be totally wrong.

F series are lighter and you can't alter the travel by adding/removing spacers. If not fussed about a few gms, I'd go with the new Float R's (although they don't have a lockout, obviously)

Edit - the ones being sold by smoothie look a great buy however!
