FoD Uplift – Ad Hoc Single Uplifts?

Crew of us hitting FoD in October. Some want the uplift. Is it a full day booking only or can you also just jump on and pay for a single trip as and when?

As far as I have seen it is for the full day as they don’t take cash payments for ad hoc lifts. I haven’t used it for this reason but after riding up 5 times I would certainly pay for a couple of lifts if they offered the service. https://ecom.roller.app/forestofdeanuplift/booknow/en/home

I was talking to someone there last weekend and they said that they do do “pay as you go” but I am sure it is only in the afternoon if it isn’t busy and they were charging £10 a go

I was there a year ago.

Adhoc uplift was £4 per run and they had a contactless machine in the van. Priority was given to people who had booked the day but I never had to wait (this was a Monday in late September).

I suggest giving FlyUp a bell to see what they are doing this year.
