Foam rings, does it matter?

Hi,

Was servicing some old RS Recons (2018) on Saturday. Threw the 10ml foams away, not realising I’d run out of spares. I ordered a single pair from eBay advertised as 5mm – because they fit easier. A pair of 3mm foams have turned up.

Will they suffice, or is this going to cause problems?

Put 3 in each leg

I got one pair.

They once came with 5mm foams that went in really easily. Since then, I’ve always used 5’s. Should probably put the 10mm ones in before doing the wiper seals.
