Finally got my bike back from the lbs today after getting them to transfer all my components across from my roscoe to my new yeti.. all i needed was a new headset.. unfortunately cant ride it as ive just had a hernia operation, gutted!

Edit-not quite!Althepal – that rear mudguard – what/where please?
Posted 5 years agoZefal no mud. Its ok for commuting and towpath but was using it at Cathkin the other day and just kept rubbing the tyre when compressed. Poss needs a bit of fettling..

Still feel I need something to protect the reverb though!You don’t. Mines been ridden unprotected in mud over the two years and is still fine.

If you are worried I’d suggest a bit of cleaned up old inner tube slipped over from the bottom of the post and zip-tied in place. You’ll need to allow air in and out somehow so it can breathe or it won’t re-extend.

Posted 5 years ago@dan45a.. using a fox rp24 talas.. useful having the 100-120-140 availability. Cant wait to actually ride it, just been sitting looking at it in my hall for days.. will be a while though unfortunately. 🙁
