I’m having no luck sending a fax via Windows 7’s Scan and Fax software. My usb fax modem is correctly installed and passes its diagnostic tests but when I try an fax I get a singularly unhelpful message telling me that the fax couldn’t be sent because of an “unexpected error” (I’m getting sick of Windows 7 failing to do things and simply reporting “an unexepected error” or just “an error”.
The net seems full of similar experiences but no real solutions that I’ve come across. I’ve checked that there’s a operational fax machine on the number I’m faxing from.
I’m using Windows 7 Professional 64bit and any help would be appreciated!
