Jammers – my cousin, who is an uber-statto, and would bet on 2 flies crawling up a window – had analysed all the pre-tournament form that year, and confidently predicted (before a ball had been kicked) that the final would be a repeat of the opening game (Greece v Portugal) and Greece would win it 😯

I’ve told the Turks I am coming, apparently they’ve laid on a special welcome at Club Med Kemer :). Sadly not going this year, friends leaving next weekend
