I didn’t have an issue at all following my bout of that delightful inconvenience but then agin I spent 3 weeks in hospital on IV antibiotics and had my scrotum knifed open to drain the build up of fluid so it was all pretty much back to normal after that.

    Epididymitis is unpleasant.

Do you use the  ism one ? It looks interesting 🤔.I’ll see if I can find a shop that I can try one . It can get expensive buying the just to try . I have a shelf full of failures.

A mate who has ongoing prostate issues swears by the Selle SMP saddles – the looks are a little challenging, but he finds them very good. Not sure which one he uses.

I don’t have the same issues, but get on well with the SQlab saddles, which again are engineered to remove pressure from your soft tissue. They have a range of widths and full info on sizing on their website starting with how to measure your sit-bone width then translate that into the correct saddle fit.

I have ISM ones on all my bikes, PL version on road and gravel, PM on mtb.  I swopped over to them after much research around 10 yrs ago when going through prostate cancer surgery and rehab onto the bike.  I got so used to the comfort of them I have stuck with them. The ISM website is really good and has fitting instructions that you need to follow to the letter – the saddle goes a bit further back and lower than your regular one in general.

They are expensive to buy, some shops may give you a trial but not many physical places stock them.  I have a couple spare used ones and would be happy to send you one to try ?  I have both the road and mtb ones in my spares box so could send you either.  PM me if interested.

    Cheers

I’ve had it. A medium sized trailer did the job.
