LOL’ing at the trail called Angry Pirate

Apparently “Angry Pirate” got it’s name because when it was being built one of the trail builders got stung by a hornet near his eye and was leaping around covering his eye – like an angry pirate with an eye patch.

That’s the story Whistler Bike Park folk told me anyway…
