Anyone know how we get from Dublin airport to the city centre and how much it costs?

There are about 3 bus companies run coaches, or at least there were a couple of years ago. Less than €10 iirc. Takes about half an hour.

Yeah I used it about 18 months ago. Quick and goes straight through the city centre.

I used to use this. It was the best service when I lived there.

    Thanks all!

Does anyone know if the normal buses take contactless or is it still cash/Leap cards only?

We took the big blue coach (sorry cant remember the name, but there are berths for them outside the terminal) from the Airport to Trinity College. It was contactless payment with the ticket man at the stall outside, and cost 10 Euro for a single. Took about 15-20 minutes I think.

I believe the smaller / double decker city bus style ones are cheaper but not sure of contactless on them and they probably take longer.

Aircoach (the blue one) does take contactless (up to 50 euros), just checked.

Normal as in Dublin bus/ TFI? Looks like they’re still cash (exact change) only, or Leap card. You know what they say – Ireland’s like the UK 20 years ago… 😉

Buses from the airport mostly take contactless though, as they have ticket machines at the stop
